What You’ll Do

The Instructional & Asynchronous Design Lead owns the end-to-end production of Product and Service Line trainings. This role combines instructional strategy with rapid digital production to create turnkey, high-engagement asynchronous learning experiences.

The lead translates complex product capabilities, implementation tools, and strategy materials into interactive modules that prepare Individual Contributors for execution and Managers for analysis, coaching, and team support. Using active learning strategies—such as branching logic, interactive templates, and data-driven reflection—this role ensures mastery of technical product and service line requirements while managing production timelines and stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities:

  • Rapid Conversion: Transform live synchronous sessions (content sessions, whole group sessions) into polished asynchronous courses.
  • Multimedia Production: Record, edit, and produce high-quality instructional videos and audio assets.
  • Interactivity Design: Embed engagement features (quizzes, reflections, CFUs) to ensure active learning in a self-paced format.
  • System Management: Set up and maintain tracking/completion systems within the LMS to monitor learner progress.
  • Project Pipeline: Manage the end-to-end workflow for multiple sessions weekly, ensuring all instructional priorities are preserved in the digital shift.

Candidate Qualifications and Traits:

  • Asynchronous Pedagogy: Expert understanding of "chunking" dense 60–90 minute live sessions into digestible micro-learning segments that maintain instructional rigor.
  • Multimedia Production: Mastery of video/audio post-production (e.g., Camtasia, Descript) to edit live recordings into polished, graphics-supported instructional videos.
  • LMS Architecture: Deep technical knowledge of setting up tracking, completion triggers, and SCORM/xAPI mapping to ensure data-driven oversight.
  • Adaptability & Growth Mindset: The ability to adjust to evolving organizational needs, embrace new approaches, and continuously learn.
  • Critical Thinking & Results-Oriented: Effectively plans and executes work to achieve impactful outcomes; uses strong judgment to analyze situations and test solutions in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Operational Excellence: Strong attention to detail with an "audit-first" mindset regarding document versioning and compliance terminology.
